If you decided to go for a completely new floor, I
would first make a visit to your home in order to
discuss the choice of wood, the various ways that a
floor can be laid (floating or fixed), and how these
affect your budget.
We can take you to visit
warehouses where you can get an actual feel of
the various woods and see the ways in which wood
products are finished.
Once you have made your choice, the wood will be
delivered at a time that is convenient, and fitted.
There are a lot of materials to choose from, with
more coming onto the market all the time. Our
experience with most of the range allows us to give
our customers honest, independent advice.
To get the materials that best suit your needs,
we take into consideration your total living
environment, from the presence of children and pets,
to the sensitivity of the neighbours, etc.
Maintenance
Many existing floors need not look as worn as
they do. With a little care and restoration your old
floor can be given a new life. Depending on how deep
a restoration you want, I can give it a full
sanding, light sanding, a new layer of oil or
lacquer - anything is possible.
Some helpful tips
- Simply putting down door mats and making
sure they are used will prolong the life of your
floor
- Do not be tempted to use a wet mop on a
wooden floor. Wood and water do not go well
together
- Wiping your floor with a soft cloth
moistened with a recommended cleaning product
once a week is enough to keep your floor in good
condition

maintenance products.
